About Bill Morris

A Lifetime of Service to St. Clair County

Bill Morris is a lifelong resident of St. Clair County who has spent decades working to make our region thrive. His leadership has touched nearly every corner of the community — from city hall to the classroom to critical infrastructure.

As Mayor of Moody for more than a decade, Bill guided the city through steady growth and modernization. He helped strengthen public safety, improve local roads and utilities, and ensure that progress never came at the expense of small-town values.

After serving as mayor, Bill Morris became General Manager of Leeds Water Works, where he continues to oversee vital services that affect families and businesses across the region.

In addition, Bill proudly serves on the St. Clair County Board of Education, working to ensure that local schools remain strong, well-funded, and future-focused. His appointment by Lt. Governor Will Ainsworth to the Central Alabama Water Board reflects the trust placed in his leadership and expertise.
